Devil in Disguise - History

Devil in Disguise was established in 1998. In the same year the band recorded a 7” entitled “rules of the fools” wich was released on Bad Dog Rec.

Although DiD got in the lucky position to be support-act for Dropkick Murphys, Dickies, Demented Are Go, The Meteors and punkrock legends The Misfits, the band broke up.

4 years later, 4 new songs have been recorded for a demotape and the band started to play shows again. The first gig took place in Hamburg/Logo with Mad Sin and Peter Pan Speedrock, followed by a festival with The Meteors, Mad Sin, Peter Pan Speedrock and many more (DiD played both shows under the name “The Rotten Few”).

In april 2004 DiD took place as support-band for sweden´s finest punkrock-export The Bones. Believing the reviews the band was given, it´s been a great succes.

In august 05 they started recording their first full-lengh-cd. It´s gonna be released in december 05 on Escobar-Records

Sammy Stiletto

Leadguitar & Vocals

Before getting back to the roots: Punkrock, Sammy sang in a hardcore band called “Surface”.

In 1995 they released a 7” (last time) on March Through Rec. before the band signed to Mad Mob Rec. in 1997 and released a MCD (to millennium…and beyond) followed by a full length CD (shadows cast by the light of the world) in 1998. After a couple of succesful tours with bands like Snapcase, Ryker´s, Deviate and shows with Agnotstic Front, Madball and Earth Crisis, the band broke up.

"HOT"Peeroni

Drums

Peer spent his early years as musician in a psychobilly band called Pitmen. In 1996 the band recorded a 7” for crazy love rec. In 1998 they released a full length CD (listen to the engine) on the same label. 1999 they recorded a 7” (same) and one year later Peer left the band.

Although Pitmen never made it on tour, they supported bands like the Meteors, Demented are go, Mad Sin and the Caravans.

Then came a time where he had to put down the drumsticks and took care of his newborn daughter. Now, he enjoys both, to be a beloved father and drummer.
